Saaruban grew up alongside the Sri Lankan diaspora — close enough to see what it actually needs. Not just one thing. Many things, at every life stage.

A school-leaver figuring out which university abroad will accept them. A family weighing whether to move to Canada. A care worker who needs the right certification before they can be hired in Toronto. A grandmother sending sweetmeats to her grandchildren in London. A small business owner trying to ship handlooms to a buyer in Sydney.

Every one of these is a different problem, but they all sit on the same fault line — the distance between Sri Lanka and the rest of the world. So instead of running one business, Saaruban has built several — each focused on one piece of that distance.

Ellaam Express is the courier arm — moving parcels and goods. Alongside it sit travels, education, migration, and workforce training businesses. Different services, same operator, same vision: the bridge between home and away should be short, trustworthy, and run by someone who understands both sides.
